Zoom has become a popular choice for video conferencing, largely adopted by businesses, schools, and organizations for meetings, events, and webinars. Its intuitive interface and reliable video connectivity make it an excellent tool for virtual conferencing.
The integration of an AI camera like the OBSBOT Tail Air can enhance the capabilities of Zoom. The Tail Air offers professional 4K video and smart tracking features over NDI. This tutorial will guide you on how to set up the Tail Air as your Zoom webcam using its NDI output.
To connect the Tail Air with Zoom using NDI, you'll need:
Before you begin, make sure the Tail Air and your computer are on the same network, learn how to set OBSBOT Tail Air with a wired NDI connection by watching the tutorial video.
Next, ensure that the NDI mode on the Tail Air is activated (you can manage this in the Obsbot Start App and OBSBOT Center software).
2. Find the Webcam launcher in the NDI Tools and launch it.
3. A webcam interface will appear, click the gear icon to select the NDI video source you’d like to output.
4. After selection, your real-time video image will appear.
5. Then, open the Zoom software on your computer, and start or join a meeting.
6. Select the corresponding “NDI Webcam Video”, wait for a few seconds, and the video signal of your Tail Air will successfully reach Zoom via the NDI source.
You're now ready to enhance your Zoom meetings with the OBSBOT Tail Air and NDI!
2. In the NDI section, select the device and choose the corresponding camera device.
3. Open the Zoom software and set the NDI Video source as your video input.
4. Wait a few seconds. The video signal from your Tail Air will then successfully reach Zoom via the NDI source on your macOS.
Prepare your Zoom meetings to be enhanced with Tail Air using an NDI connection.
Alternatively, you can use Vmix or OBS Studio. Both offer the NDI video source and allow you to output it via a Virtual Camera video.
